Is it time for the 'Junk Shot' yet?

If it wasn't for the overwhelming tragedy of the matter (people tend to forget 11 people also died), the comedy aspect of this would be quite high.

Here's the consultant hired for the implementation of the headline.

Dear Ole Dixie did it for the money, again, and she's been befouled and is lying in the gutter.

Never you mind that she was begging for it like a mongrel in heat, don't speak of the causes or reasons for the outrages perpetrated upon her prone and nearly lifeless form. Just don't speak of it -- can't you be a gentleman and help a "lady"?

O Dear Ole Dixie. How many more times must we come to your assistance (only in the most gentlemanly of manners, of course)? How many times must we pretend the harm you've done to us all is of no account? How many times must we pretend your actions have nothing to do with their inevitable consequences? And how many times must we ignore your resentment of (let it finally be said) your betters?

Let this also be said: Dear Ole Dixie, you are a whore, and got what you deserved. Know we are laughing at the consequences of your greedy stupidity. I only regret your disasters hurt the rest of us.

why is obama allowing for the dumping of toxic dispersants?

toxic dispersants aren't as bad as toxic comics. vox

vox,

huh? comics?

thom hartmann argues dispersants are being used for mere public relations damage control. BP wants to avoid damaging news photos. that's no excuse to make something bad even worse.

what should be used instead is coagulants. something that will clot up the oil into tar balls which can be then harvested by nets or something.
