Sorry Arizona, Kurt Warner not among them

A couple dozen more Junkers to the College:

Pope Benedict XVI formally created 24 new cardinals on Saturday amid cheers in St. Peter's Basilica, bringing a mostly Italian group into the elite club that will eventually elect his successor.

Ooh, a bunch of Italian Cardinals, now that's goin' all medieval.

Although I'm going to go even on the the Popenfaust this week because he did come out for universal health care, which is a lot more liberal than most Democrats, including the President.

This business with the hands of stating universal health care is a human right after your organization ensured it would never happen is typical of your Catholic Health Care Inc. PR wing.

No va, seƱor. It doesn't go. Sorry, pervs.

Some millenium Christians will finally take back Mother Church from these bigoted, greedy assholes. But I'm not holding my breath.

Considering the only place where John Paul II and Ratzinger placed their henchmen was Northern Italy (political reasons; the local are a bit more savvy about the Catholic Church than the rest of the world), an Italian Pope is the only shot the Catholic Church has of ever getting back to the 14th century.
